Why the software always stays on the message box "Connecting Server:" ?

Please launch the program from your computer's "Start > Programs > FlashDownloader", then enter the "Advanced..." dialog to configure the parameters.
Click the tab "Proxy".
If you are using a proxy to access the Internet, please check "Use HTTP Proxy" and "Use FTP Proxy", then enter the correct proxy server's name or IP address and the port number. If the proxy needs authorization, you should also check the item "Authorization" and enter the user and password.
If your computer connects to the Internet directly without proxy, then please uncheck the item "Use HTTP Proxy" and "Use FTP Proxy".
Does FlashDownloader require any payments?

Please make sure that the output folder does not contain a file with the same name as the file that you want to be downloaded.

It may because that the downloaded file was corrupted, if the file on the server is correct. Under this situation, you may try to download the file again.
Why it says that the file is using by another application when I try to open it?

Please close the FlashDownloader's downloading dialog, and try it again.
Why the software has no response when I click the button "Open" on the downloading dialog?

Please click the button "Open Folder" to launch the file explorer, then click the button "Close" on the downloading dialog to close the dialog, and open the downloaded file from file explorer.
Why the threads number is always 1 when downloading a file while the configured number is not 1?

It is because that the target server does not support technology of multiple threads and broken resume.
How to add a language of my own?

You may do according to the following steps:
A, enter the folder that FlashDownloader was installed.
B, enter the sub folder "Languagers".
C, translate a language file to your own.
D, enter the software's options dialog to select your language.
E, restart the FlashDownloader, and it will show in your language.
How to set FlashDownloader as my default downloader?

Enter the options dialog, check the item "Set this as default downloader".
How to cancel FlashDownloader as my default downloader?

Enter the options dialog, uncheck the item "Set this as default downloader". And enter the folder that the FlashDownloader was installed, open the file "Options.ini", set the value of key "Not Ask Again" to "False".
How to make the software monitor some file types and ignore others?

Enter the options dialog, click the tab "Automation", enter the file extensions there and remove unwanted extensions.
Why the language drop-down list is empty?

Please close the FlashDownloader's main window, restart it, and it will be OK.
